Lalitpur/ 27 June, A photo exhibition will be held on the occasion of the centenary birth anniversary of former Prime Minister late Girija Prasad Koirala. The Nepali Congress Central Information, Communication and Publicity Department held a press conference at the party office Sanepa today to inform about the “Historical Photo Exhibition from Revolution to Peace”.
While giving information about the program, the head of the department Meen Bishwakarma informed that the exhibition will include more than 150 photos taken by various journalists.
“More than 150 pieces will be exhibited in the hall on the ground floor of the central office, there will be pieces related to Girija Prasad Koirala and the leaders who collaborated with him before 2007. We will present the gaps that will be reflected in the situation of the stages and the stages of the peace process after the third conflict,” he said.
He informed that the pieces in the exhibition will reflect how the development infrastructures were built during the stages of peace and development, what was the economy of Nepal at that time and how we wanted to take the development model.
He said that on that day, along with the FATE exhibition, there will be a discussion on the topic of “FATE Journalism: Investigations and Experiences” in the presence of experts, from revolution to peace, the foundations of development.
He informed that the party chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba will inaugurate the exhibition. He informed that a preparation committee of 151 people including the officers and members of the department has been formed for the preparation and management of the exhibition. He informed that the party presidents of three districts of the valley were also included in the committee.
